PornHub’s artsy new merch is super cute, actually

When I think about the concept of Pornhub apparel or “merch,” my first thought is basic boy staples: a standard hoodie, comfy sweats, a cheeky dad cap, and the like. You know, clothes that are ideal to wear while jerking off. Pornhub’s latest collab with Seattle-based art supplier Art Primo is totally fit for masturbation. But it’s also pretty fashion-forward, too.

The graffiti-inspired tee shirts, hoodie, and tote bags, which drop on April 13, 2021, are centered around a spray paint can of “Pornhub Orange.” Along with Pornhub’s rhinestone pins that read “PORNSTAR” and “XXX,” you can cop some pieces from the Art Primo collection to complete your sexually liberated e-baddie look.

“Both graffiti and pornography invite the viewer to follow the artist on a voyage of self-expression and exploration, in the most non-conventional of ways and without apology,” says Art Primo’s Anne Greebich of the collaboration.

In that same spirit, Pornhub commissioned artist Gogy Esparza to direct an art video of your pornstar faves rocking the Art Primo collab. The packed line-up includes Pornhub ambassadors Asa Akira and Kira Noir, as well as Alexis Tae from Pornhub’s Model Program and Chiara Charles.

“Pornhub has become the standard and an instantly recognizable classic in itself,” says Dan Climan, the designer behind Pornhub x Art Primo. Climan calls the shade splashed throughout the collection “iconic.”

He adds, “I really wanted to elevate this timelessness with the graphic design of the can. It’s quite minimal and, with everything being so flashy these days, I think the design will stand out for its simplicity.”

To be fair, this isn’t the first time Pornhub has colored outside the “Big Porn” lines. Right around NYFW 2020, Pornhub collaborated with fashion label NAMILIA. The brand also dropped a spicy fashion film (starring Akira, Ana Foxxx, Janice Griffith, and Rae Lil Black among others), also directed by Esparza.
